The Trexlertown McDonald’s restaurant, 6896 Hamilton Blvd, Trexlertown, was the scene of a fryer fire, March 28.

Good Will Trexlertown, Upper Macungie Station 56 and Fogelsville fire departments responded.

The fire was contained to just the fryer, not spreading to any other part of the kitchen.

Firefighters did not need to extinguish the fire as it was controlled by the restaurant’s fire suppression equipment.

Employees were preparing for drive-thru customers when the fire occurred.

No injuries were reported.
