STUDENT OF THE WEEK

Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?

A. My mother Michelle Sharp, father Jack Sharp, younger sister Lauren Sharp and pet dog Scout.

Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior at Emmaus High School?

A. Spending time with my friends and enjoying all the school’s events for seniors.

Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject in school is math because it is very process oriented and there is only one right answer.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have received the Passion for Science Award and Principal’s Honor Roll for the past three years of high school.

Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?

A. Being a member of student government, National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society. I played the cello in our school’s orchestra and I swam for both our school’s club and high school swim teams.

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. Attending the University of Florida to either major in chemistry or chemical engineering.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. The whole college application and decision process and deciding what college I want to spend the next four years at.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. A nice student that is willing to help everyone out.

Q. Whom do you admire? Why?

A. My grandfather because of his work ethic, being an Air Force veteran and an entrepreneur.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Work hard, but don’t let it take time away from the good things in life.
