Lehigh Center, Genesis HealthCare, 1718 Spring Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, provided an update April 7 on COVID-19 cases at the center.

“At Lehigh Center, we are adhering to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services guidelines and recommended protocols for COVID-19. We continue to follow to the letter the direction of the Pennsylvania Department of Health in an effort to contain and minimize the spread of the virus. To date, the total number of positive cases is 27 residents and 22 staff members. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of these residents during this difficult time, especially those of the three residents who passed away.”
