Keep the faith! Heidelberg Union Church Easter Egg Hunt and the assembly of Easter food baskets for the less fortunate in the area have been canceled.

“I have decided with all that is happening that we cancel the egg hunt and egg coloring. So sad to do it,” Heidelberg Church member Sonia Fink said. “I just talked to Denise Snyder who does the Easter food baskets and that has been canceled as well.”

According to group member Eleanor Klevenhagen of Heidelberg Association of Retired Persons, better known as H.A.R.P., all upcoming events will be postponed until further notice.

Also, Heidelberg Church’s yard sale program has been canceled until further notice.

Spread the word! Membership dues are now payable for the Goodwill Fire Company, Germansville.

As with your dues, additional donations of any amount toward the general fund or truck fund may be sent to: Goodwill Fire Company, P.O. Box 69, Germansville, PA 18053.

Any resident who has not received a membership form by mail, should call the fire company at 610-767-7757 and leave your name and phone number. Someone will get back to you.

With the fire company in mind, have you purchased reflective house or mailbox numbers yet?

When emergency crews need to find your home, will they be able to find it quickly?

Residents may purchase reflective numbers from the fire company. The numbers are big and easy to read.
