Coplay’s municipal building remains shut down for public access; however, borough officials report the town hall office operations remain open to the staff.

The public can contact the borough via email or telephone.

Police operations continue on an around-the-clock basis.

The borough hall lockdown includes the athletic club, weightlifting and fitness on the second floor, the twice-weekly aerobic classes and use of the basketball court.

Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association will disburse food to its 21 client families as scheduled on the second Tuesday in April.

Association directors reported details are being arranged for the once-monthly food distribution.
