Cedarbrook says there are no resident COVID-19 cases

Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation reports there are no confirmed or suspected resident cases of COVID-19 within either Cedarbrook facility.

Cedarbrook has diligently prepared for the potential of COVID-19 affecting the resident population by initiating the construction of an isolation wing several weeks ago.

The community spread of the virus throughout the Lehigh Valley has touched one Cedarbrook county employee who tested positive.

The employee is isolated and doing well.

Cedarbrook will continue to screen staff members who may become positive from the widespread community outbreak in the Lehigh Valley.

Both Cedarbrook facilities continue to educate their staff members and management teams on identifying COVID-19 risk factors.

As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, the state Department of Health instructs Cedarbrook to direct all future inquires to the Pennsylvania DOH press office for accurate information about any current or future developments.

Cedarbrook is collaboratively working with DOH as the situation developments in Pennsylvania.
