Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, recently provided the following update on its services through the library’s weekly Enewsletter.

The library is following Gov. Tom Wolf’s closures and social distancing measures.

This will delay the move to the Roma building and projected opening until the COVID-19 shutdown is lifted.

All items borrowed by patrons before the closing on Feb. 10 will have a new due date of May 1 and will not incur overdue fines.

Library programs are suspended until further notice and its temporary location in the Roma building is closed to the public.

The North Whitehall Township book drop is also closed. Patrons are encouraged to check parklandlibrary.org regularly for updates.
