STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?
A. I have a father, Brian, a mother, Kathryn, a brother, Patrick and two sisters, Elizabeth and Kathleen.
Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior at Emmaus High School?
A. My classes this year as a senior have been very enjoyable, as they are very interesting to me. My teachers are great and I get to spend a lot of time with my friends in these classes.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. Economics is my favorite subject because I find it very applicable to real-world scenarios and it is super engaging.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I have achieved principal’s honor roll all four years, I am a member of National Honor Society and have qualified for states for Future Business Leaders of America this spring.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. I enjoy going to clubs, like FBLA and Economics and Investment Club, I played soccer for the high school team and I like to play piano.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. My next goal after high school is to attend a university and receive a degree in economics.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. My biggest challenge to date is keeping my grades up during the soccer season junior year. Balancing my schedule and managing my time was tricky during this time period.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would like to be remembered for being a good person and for being a motivated student.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire my parents for raising my three older siblings and giving us the foundations to become successful in whichever field we choose.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Try and account for your future when making decisions, while in high school.
