STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. Who are the members of your family: parents, siblings and pets?
A. I live with my mom, dad and two dogs
Q. What do you most enjoy about being a senior at Salisbury High School?
A. As a senior, I mostly enjoyed the football games and being in the front of the student section, having a say in planning the prom and homecoming dances.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. My favorite subject is English because I’ve always loved to write.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I was inducted into National Honor Society my sophomore year and have been a member since.
Q. What are your favorite extracurricular activities?
A. My favorite extracurricular activities include field hockey, which I’ve been playing since I was in seventh grade and clubs such as student advisory where I help plan student events and help fundraise for our grade and STARS club where we inform the school on the effects of drugs and alcohol.
Q. What is your next goal after high school?
A. My next goal after high school is to attend West Chester University and study advertising and marketing. I hope to eventually travel abroad for my major and after that hopefully get an internship.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. My biggest challenge to date was trying to prove that I could play on the varsity field hockey team as a freshman. It took a lot of practice and hard work to accomplish that goal and it is one of my proudest achievements.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I would like to be remembered for my kindness and my willingness to help others.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. I admire my mom because she’s shown me what hard work looks like. Also she is always the person I can trust and go to for everything and I hope to be that person for someone.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. For my peers I would say enjoy high school while it lasts because it’s going to be over in a blink of an eye.
