EMMAUS POLICE
In a media release provided to The Press, the Emmaus Police Department detailed the following in response to concerns about the coronavirus and COVID-19:
“In response to the coronavirus/ COVID-19 pandemic, the Emmaus Police Department will be taking precautions regarding calls for service. If you have a non-emergency and the situation does not require the collection of evidence, our officers will call you by telephone and complete an incident report. If you request to see an officer in person we will come to your residence; however, we may ask that you step outside to talk to us.
During normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, our front doors will be locked. A doorbell has been set up to alert the receptionist that we have a visitor. An officer will then come out to meet you at the door.
Fingerprinting services for employment will not take place at this time.
If you need a copy of an incident report, accident report or have a right-to-know request, we ask that you email us at police@emmauspd.org or call the non-emergency number: 610-967-3113.”
