Lou Ann K. (Brong) Sharkey, 71, of Danielsville and formerly of Jim Thorpe and Lehighton, died March 17, 2020, at Whitehall Manor. She was the wife of Dennis Sharkey for 50 years.

She was a 1966 graduate of Lehighton High School and a 1968 graduate from Philadelphia General Hospital School of X-Ray Technology.

She worked at Pocono Hospital and Lehighton Gnaden Huetten Hospital.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Shannon and Gary Kokosky of Danielsville and Bryan and Becky Sharkey of Blandon; two grandsons, Alex Kokosky and Kian Sharkey; and two granddaughters, Jaclyn Kokosky and Brenna Sharkey.

Services are private.
