Lorraine B. Smith, 86, of Allentown, died March 20, 2020. She was the wife of the late Ernest D. Smith Sr.

Born in Catasauqua, she was the daughter of the late Alfred F. and Angeline (Miller) Zimmerman.

She was a self-employed domestic throughout the Lehigh Valley for 30 years before retiring in 2005. Before that, she was a bookkeeper for several insurance companies.

She was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall Township, where she served on the consistory, banquet committee and as treasurer of the youth group.

She is survived by two children, Valerie A. Smith and Ernest D. Jr., both at home; a sister, Marilyn A. Huertas of Hellertown; a niece, Denise M. Muth with Robert of Coopersburg; and a nephew, Teodoro Huertas Jr. with Andrea of Bethlehem.

She was predeceased by a niece, Marguerita A. Huertas.
