Jose G. Hidalgo, 40, of Reading, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a motor vehicle accident in a professional park located in the 1200 block of South Cedar Crest Boulevard March 5, according to Salisbury police. Hidalgo was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

Ranique Kirk Andrew Ferron, 26, of East Hartford, Conn., was found to allegedly be carrying a firearm without a license and in possession of a small amount of marijuana after a traffic stop at Oxford Drive and Moravian Avenue March 2, according to Salisbury police. Ferron was transported to the Lehigh County Central Booking Center.

An 18-year-old male, of Allentown and two 17-year-old males, also of Allentown, were arrested and charged with alleged simple assault and disorderly conduct following a disturbance at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest March 4, according to Salisbury police.

A person reported making a payment via Western Union to rent a property in the 2800 block of Edgemont Drive. The payment was for $1,870 and was sent to an individual who was not the owner of the property. The incident was reported March 8.

A 39-year-old male, of Emmaus, was cited for disorderly conduct following a disturbance at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Cedar Crest March 4, according to Salisbury police.

A radar system, valued at $989.70, was removed from a vehicle parked in the 1600 block of Broadway. The theft was reported March 3.

Someone smashed a windshield and a passenger side door window, slashed the passenger side front and rear tires and damaged the paint of a passenger side door of a vehicle parked in the 900 block of East Lexington Street. The damage was reported March 5. No value of loss was available at the time of the report, according to Salisbury police.

Salisbury police and the Salisbury fire inspectors assisted at a fire alarm at the 1247 building, South Cedar Crest Boulevard, March 2. The cause of the alarm was determined to be air pockets in the sprinkler system, according to Salisbury police.

Salisbury police assisted the fire departments with a carbon dioxide alarm at a residence in the 2100 block of Sonoma Drive March 3. The home was evacuated and tested for carbon dioxide, according to Salisbury police.

Pennsylvania State Police requested the Salisbury police K-9 for a narcotics search along Interstate 78 westbound March 9. Salisbury police officer K-9 Miklo assisted at the scene.

Salisbury police assisted the fire department at a brush fire in the 1800 block of Alder Lane March 8.

Salisbury police and the Salisbury fire inspectors investigated a fire alarm at ManorCare Health Services, 1265 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., March 2. The cause of the alarm was determined to be a burned blower motor in the laundry system, according to Salisbury police.

Numerous five-day warning stickers were placed on abandoned vehicles in the township. Police investigations will be completed following the five-day warning period.
