As many of you are already aware, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf has announced the closure of schools, kindergarten-12th grade, effective March 16-29.

At this time, Catasauqua Area School District is closed and scheduled to reopen 6 a.m. March 30.

Please be advised no extracurricular activities or outside events will occur during this time without exception.

I will do my best to update you and keep you informed on any changes that may occur in light of these circumstances.

I will share any rescheduled dates to postponed events at Sheckler Elementary School as they are made available when classes resume.
