Lehigh Valley Zoo, 5150 Game Preserve Road, Schnecksville, will celebrate all things green at its St. Patrick’s Day celebration on March 14 and 15.

There will be a special reptile and amphibian keeper chat 12:30 p.m. in the Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Center.

Joanna Bertalan of Professional Singing Princess will perform at the zoo as Merida. She will give two story times.

The first at 11 a.m. and the second at noon. There will be a meet-and-greet after each session on March 15.

The zoo is hosting its second Coffee, Chocolate, and Critters event from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or 2-4 p.m. March 21.

Guests will be able to sample chocolate and coffee pairings while encountering animals from coffee and chocolate producing biomes.

Try three special pairings of single-origin, Rainforest Alliance certified coffees and Rainforest Alliance certified chocolate while learning about the importance of shade grown coffee and sustainable cocoa farming.

Each coffee and chocolate pairing will be accompanied by a presentation featuring some of the zoo’s education ambassador animals.

Each pairing presentation will feature an animal from the region in which the coffee and chocolate are produced.

Learn amazing animal facts and how the production of coffee and chocolate affects the spaces that these animals call home.

World Frog Day will be celebrated with a Poison Dart Frog keeper chat 12:30 p.m. March 22 in the Reptile and Amphibian Discovery Center.
