Pennsylvania State Police troopers were dispatched to the 3600 block of Clauss Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 10:28 p.m. Feb. 29 for a report of 10 individuals sick inside a residence.

Upon arrival, troopers found six children and four adults complaining of dizziness and feeling ill. Troopers escorted all individuals from inside the residence to EMS vehicles. All 10 people were transported to Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest, for evaluation, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

UGI Utilities and the Lower Macungie Township Fire Department assisted at the scene.

An unknown person damaged a dead bolt and dented a metal door at Herbein’s Garden Center, 4301 Chestnut St., Upper Milford Township, between Feb. 15 and 22. Anyone with information concerning this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

John N. Ngethe, 27, of Macungie, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in a parking lot of Costco Wholesale, 791 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:16 a.m. Jan. 26, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Mark Michael Nave, 35, of Norristown, allegedly was operating his vehicle under the influence of a controlled substance in a hit-and-run accident, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Nave allegedly fled the accident in the 4400 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township and a police investigation located the vehicle at Redner’s Quick Shoppe, 26 Main St., Bally.

Brianna Marie Bradshaw, 21, of Allentown, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the Trexlertown bypass and U.S. Route 100, Lower Macungie Township, 3:05 a.m. Nov. 24, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Holfson Cajuste, 44, of Bethlehem, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence, in possession of a controlled substance and in possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop in the 4800 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, 12:36 a.m. Jan. 15, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Casey Joel Fritsch, 24, of Macungie, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 1200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Emmaus borough, 2:20 a.m. Feb. 2, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Carlos Mendez, 40, of Trexlertown, was taken into custody after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville responded to a location in the 6700 block of Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 4:23 a.m. Feb. 8 for a report of a man who was allegedly intoxicated and screaming profane language, according to police.

Tawanna Linda Foster, 33, of Brooklyn, N.Y., was taken into custody for allegedly removing 128 items with a total value of $284.74 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:15 p.m. Feb. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

An unknown woman allegedly was observed failing to scan items valued at $357 at a self-checkout register at Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 2:29 p.m. Jan. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 30-year-old female, of Birdsboro, allegedly removed merchandise valued at $74.32 from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:53 p.m. Feb. 6, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Items taken included doughnuts, dolls, a spinning toy, batteries, jewelry and cosmetics.

A 21-year-old female, of Trexlertown, was taken into custody for allegedly under-ringing $43.98 worth of merchandise at a self-checkout register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:56 p.m. Feb. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 40-year-old female and a 49-year-old female, both of Allentown, were cited for retail theft after they allegedly under-rang merchandise at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:46 a.m. Feb. 4.

A 52-year-old woman, of Whitehall, allegedly failed to pay for merchandise at a self-check out register at Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, Feb. 24, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 20-year-old female, of Coopersburg, escaped injury when the vehicle she was driving struck an embankment and flipped onto its side in a one-vehicle accident in the 1200 block of Beverly Hills Road, Lower Milford Township, 7:05 p.m. Feb. 21, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The vehicle was eastbound when it went off the road. The car toppled onto the left side, damaging the windshield and roof. The vehicle was towed from the scene by Mechanics Plus Towing.

An unknown person used a counterfeit $100 bill to purchase two beverages at Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., 2:04 p.m. Jan. 22. The same person used another counterfeit $100 to make a purchase at a Starbucks café in the supermarket 2:15 p.m. the same day. The same person also allegedly used counterfeit money in a store in Bethlehem Township Jan. 29, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
