Congratulations to senior Zachary Scheirer on being selected as Catasauqua High School’s 2019-20 Football Scholar Athlete.

Scheirer was honored, along with the other Lehigh Valley high school and college nominees, at the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame Lehigh Valley Chapter Football Scholar Athlete banquet, held recently at Northampton Banquet and Event Center.

Every month, teachers at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute recognize students for outstanding effort, improvement, achievement or leadership in their career and technical education programs and academic center classes.

CHS students Amanda Mathis (advertising design/commercial art) and Tess Grotz (painting and decorating) were recently selected by their teachers as LCTI’s February 2020 Students of the Month.

All schools in the Catasauqua Area School District will be closed March 13 for an Act 80 teacher in-service day.

National Honor Society is selling shamrocks during all lunch periods up until St. Patrick’s Day, March 17. The minimum donation for a shamrock is $1.

All process will benefit Muscular Dystrophy Association.
