A basket bingo, benefiting Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley, is planned for 1-3 p.m. March 14 in the cafeteria of Whitehall High School.

Doors open noon.

Whitehall-Coplay Middle School’s annual food drive continues through March 16. Items collected need to be nonperishable and nonexpired.

Each homeroom will take a daily count of items brought in. The winning homerooms will receive a surprise reward.

All of the food collected will stay in the Whitehall-Coplay School District by being donated to the food banks associated with Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church.

Steckel Elementary School students will have their spring pictures taken March 19.

All students will have their photos taken, but purchase is optional.

The formal senior class yearbook picture will be taken 9:15 a.m. March 20 in the WHS gymnasium. This formal portrait of the senior class will appear in the 2020 edition of the yearbook.

All seniors will report to class and wait for an announcement over the public address system.

All senior boys are required to wear a dress shirt, dress pants and tie. All senior girls are required to wear a blouse and dress pants, leggings, tights or yoga pants. It is recommended that girls avoid wearing skirts and dresses because those garments tend not to photograph well when sitting on the bleachers.

No students are allowed to wear jeans, T-shirts or polo shirts. If you are unable to acquire the proper attire and would like to appear in the photograph, please see an administrator or fill out the Google form as soon as possible. Students who do not wear proper attire will not be in the photograph.
