Favorite subject: My favorite subjects are math and science (specifically physics and chemistry), because of their applicability to the real world.

Activities: Tang Soo Do (a form of Korean martial arts), Ski Club, Global Scholars Club and Engineering and Robotics Club

Next steps: I plan on going to college for engineering and hopefully studying abroad.

Career goals: I want to become an electrical engineer.

Heroes: My heroes are my parents because they inspire me to work harder.

Hobbies: In my free time, I like to play video games, watch anime, and spend time with my friends.

Volunteer/community work: Last summer I traveled to China on the Adoptees Give Back – Orphanage Service Trip, where Chinese adoptees such as myself volunteered at an orphanage in Xi’an. I also regularly volunteer at Cedarbrook Nursing Home.

Likes: Travel, music, pancakes and sushi

Dislikes: Disorganization

Greatest accomplishment (so far): Earning my black belt

Advice for peers: Work hard in high school because it will pay off in the long run!
