Women writers event March 16

There will be a celebration of women writers at 1 p.m. on March 16 in Room 220, College Center, NCC main campus. Female faculty and staff will read from works including academic studies, family histories, novels, drama, poetry, and children’s books, by Donna Acerra, Heather Adams, Jessica Bacho, Judi Buenaflor, Karin Donahue, Julie Houston, Shanita Hubbard, Barbara Love, Mary Mathis, Precie Schroyer and Susan Schultheis.

Health fair March 24

Northampton Community College is holding a health fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on March 24, at the Arthur L. Spartan Center of the Bethlehem Campus, 3835 Green Pond Road. Lehigh Valley Health Network will provide mammograms. There will be healthy cooking demos and groups such as Music Therapy Association, Overeaters Anonymous, Schoolhouse Orthodontics and Force Gymnastics. The event is sponsored by NCC’s Wellness Warrior and THRIVE.

Main Campus open house April 25

The college main campus will hold an open house: at 10 a.m. (prompt) on April 25.
