LCCC:

Parents and their children, ages 10 to 16 years of age, are invited to two “Spectacular Saturdays” hands-on classes, “Pierogies 101” and “Pizza,” offered by the noncredit division at Lehigh Carbon Community College (LCCC).

Learn how to make classic Neapolitan-style pizza and dessert pizza. Recipes are provided. Create your own signature pizza by making homemade dough and combining ingredients for the topping. The course is 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. March 21.

“Pierogies 101” is 12:30 - 3:30 p.m. March 28. Parents and children will make the Polish dumplings from scratch, with traditional and modern ingredients for the filling.
