Police are investigating a hit-and-run crash that occurred 12:39 p.m. Jan. 20 on Trexler Road near the intersection with Farmington Road, Upper Macungie.

According to police, an older model silver Dodge Ram pickup struck a telephone pole.

Within a few minutes, a tri-axle dump truck arrived and pulled the pickup out.

Both vehicles left the scene and did not contact police.

Police say the owner of East Penn Flooring, 5925 Tilghman St., Upper Macungie, reported 5:13 a.m. Feb. 17 that a catalytic converter was taken from one of his work vans.

The suspect, police say, was reported in a small light-colored four-door car.
