STUDENT OF THE WEEK
Q. In what grade, are you currently enrolled?
A. I am a senior at Salisbury High School this year.
Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?
A. Throughout high school, I have always liked math and science classes the most. I like the challenge they bring and have especially enjoyed taking statistics and physics.
Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?
A. I was inducted into National Honor Society sophomore year. Last year, my track coaches named me team MVP and I am extremely lucky to be selected as an all area honorable mention goalkeeper twice in my soccer career.
Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?
A. I have been a part of the girls soccer program for all of high school. I have also been a member of the high school track and field team, and really enjoy jumping and sprinting. The clubs I partake in are class advisory, STARs and FBLA.
Q. What is your next goal after graduation?
A. I hope to obtain a degree from Penn State University with a major in architectural engineering and possible minor in the field of business.
Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?
A. Academically, my biggest challenge has been navigating through my school work and managing my time.
Q. For what would you like to be remembered?
A. I hope to be remembered for my hardworking mentality and positive attitude.
Q. Who is in your family?
A. My family consists of my dad, Robert, mom, Mary Beth, twin sister, Hana and younger brother, Luke.
Q. Whom do you admire? Why?
A. My parents are my biggest role models. They have taught me to work for the things I want, to be my own person and persevere through adversity.
Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?
A. Treat people with kindness. You aren’t always remembered by your words or actions, but are always remembered by the way you make people feel.
