Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, staff will answer calls about library cards, placing holds and answering reference questions from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Monday-Thursday until March 6.
According to the library’s weekly Enewsletter, the library will begin moving its collection to the Roma Building, 1605 North Cedar Crest Blvd., Suite 410, South Whitehall, in the middle of March.
The library is scheduled to reopen to the public in early April.
Programming is currently suspended. February and March events will be rescheduled.
Programming will resume in April at the new temporary location in the Roma Building.
Library patrons should not enter the South Whitehall Township campus on Walbert Avenue.
All items borrowed by patrons at the library before the closing have a new due date of April 2.
To return items to them, do so at any Lehigh Carbon Library Cooperative Library or at the book drop at the North Whitehall Township Building, 3256 Levans Road, North Whitehall.
Library patrons may also return items to the bin found at South Whitehall Township’s temporary location within the Roma Corporate Center.
