FALCON INSIDER

The yearbook will take club photos Feb. 26, 27 and 28 for the 2020 yearbook. Check the schedule and arrive five minutes prior to your club’s scheduled photo.

Feb. 26 is the last day for all seniors to submit their senior quote to be published in the yearbook. If a student is interested in revising their previously submitted quote, they should do so by filling out the Google form again, making sure to put the words “revised quote” next to their name.

March is Music in Our Schools Month. To celebrate, Ms. Reinecke is encouraging students to share their musical talents with their peers during an even day Falcon period. Students will not only be able to perform in front of other musicians, but they are also able to invite three of their friends to watch. Light refreshments will be provided for all. Students who are interested in participating should email Ms. Reinecke with both their musical talent and their Falcon period availability.

Salisbury High School G.I.V.E. will hold a fundraiser March 4 at The Crust pizzeria and restaurant 3043 W. Emaus Ave. Community members can stop by the pizzeria any time during the day to support SHS G.I.V.E. by mentioning their name when ordering. This will allow the club to receive 10 percent of your order, which they will be able to use to support various club activities.

This year, SHS Theatre will perform the musical “Into the Woods.” Show dates are 7 p.m. March 12, 13 and 14 and 3 p.m. March 15. Make sure to mark your calendars so that you can support SHS Theatre.

A spring fling dance will be held 7-10 p.m. March 21 at Salisbury High School. Students can attend the dance in the SHS old gym by either purchasing a ticket during lunches, starting March 11, or by purchasing a ticket at the door for an additional cost.

National Honor Society will host a blood drive to support the Miller-Keystone Blood Center noon to 7 p.m. March 31.

SHS students and staff can make an appointment any time by talking to Olivia Hoeing or Baxter Reihman. All community members interested in donating can do so after 2:40 p.m. To schedule an appointment, visit the website www.GIVEaPINT.org and use the sponsor code 0490. NHS members will provide childcare during the appointments.

Feb. 26 is mid-marking, so students should make sure all of their grades are current.

Finally, students will enjoy a day off March 13.
