Read Across America Day is March 2.

Throughout the district, there will be various activities to celebrate Read Across America in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday. The importance of reading will be celebrated at schools across the nation.

Be sure and listen for any upcoming special activities to join in the fun.

Moore Elementary is seeking volunteers to present on various careers to the students at the annual career day March 27.

There are full-day and half-day slots available.

This is a great opportunity to share your talent and career training with the students.

Local business owners, community members and former students are all welcome.

Registration forms are due March 6.

Online kindergarten registration for the 2020-21 school year is ongoing. Visit the Northampton Area School District website and click on the 2020-21 registration link on the left side of the page. The site will provide you with important information and requirements for kindergarten.

Your child must be 5 years old on or before Sept. 1. The website provides you with the health requirements.
