Easton Hospital, a member of Steward Health Care, has partnered with St. Luke’s University Health Network for maternal and newborn services.
“St. Luke’s has an excellent obstetrics program and the best facilities around,” said Linda Grass, President of Easton Hospital.
Last month, St. Luke’s opened its Women & Babies Pavilion at the 500-acre Anderson Campus in Bethlehem Township just off Route 33.
The pavilion is a four-floor, 180,000-square-foot facility that includes nine labor and delivery rooms, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with eight private rooms and 18 semi-private rooms, a 32-room postpartum unit and a 16-bassinet nursery.
“We are honored that Easton Hospital identified St. Luke’s as their choice in the Lehigh Valley for their maternal and newborn patients,” said Israel Zighelboim, MD, FACOG, FACS, Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, St. Luke’s University Health Network. “We are welcoming Easton Hospital’s OB-GYN physicians and patients with open arms.”
Easton Hospital and St. Luke’s have established a strong and ongoing partnership to maximize the quality of patient care for the Easton community. Over the past year, St. Luke’s began providing Easton Hospital with: telestroke services, trauma and other services for higher acuity, tertiary patients, neonatal intensive care services for high risk babies and cardiothoracic surgery.
