A resident of Autumn Ridge Road, Lower Macungie Township, reported unknown persons entered her residence through a side door and removed various items between 9 a.m. and 2:05 p.m. Feb. 5. A green Dodge Caravan minivan displaying the custom registration plate FAME fled the area, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 62-year-old resident of Tollgate Road, Upper Milford Township, reported unknown actors produced a duplicate credit card using the resident’s information and used the credit card multiple times between Dec. 21, 2019 and Jan. 4 in New York City, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The actors totaled $72,902.85 in purchases with the duplicate card.

Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville investigators responded to the offices of the National Energy Improvement Fund, 1005 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, after unknown persons falsified records of businesses and individuals to acquire $76,900 from NEIF.

Numerous eggs were thrown at a residence in the 6600 block of Arbordeau Lane, Lower Macungie Township, 2:30 a.m. Dec. 20, 2019. Eggs struck the residence and two vehicles in the driveway, resulting in $2,100 worth of damage. A mailbox also was struck, causing an additional $200 in damage.

Holiday decorations were damaged at a residence on Greens Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:25 a.m. Dec. 22, 2019.

An outdoor light at a residence along Marworth Court, Lower Macungie Township, was found broken when the resident returned home Jan. 15.

Graffiti was found spray painted on walls and other church property at Community Baptist Church, 7350 Elementary Road, Lower Milford Township, between 6 p.m. Nov. 26 and 7:30 a.m. Nov. 27, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Graffiti was found spray painted on a glass sign at Chestnut Hill Church UCC, Chestnut Hill Church Road and Limeport Pike, Lower Milford Township. The incident was reported to have occurred between Jan. 18 and 24. Anyone with information pertaining to this incident may contact Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville at 610-395-1438.

Eric Eugene Derr, 46, of Alburtis, was found to allegedly be driving under the influence while operating a vehicle in the 6300 block of Hamilton Boulevard, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 9, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Shannon Anne Hoffman, 39, of Coopersburg, was found to allegedly be driving under the influence following a traffic stop at the intersection of Krocks Road and Country Club Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3 a.m. Jan. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Judith Eileen Davies, 61, of Emmaus, was found to allegedly be driving under the influence following a traffic stop on Vera Cruz Road at Quarry Drive, Upper Milford Township, 12:56 a.m. Dec. 5, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Joshua Jay Bortz, 44, of Allentown, was allegedly driving under the influence in a hit and run accident in the parking lot of Hunan Springs restaurant, 4939 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 7:55 p.m. Jan. 16, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Bortz allegedly backed his vehicle into a second vehicle while the vehicle was occupied and fled the scene of the incident. The driver of the second vehicle got the license plate of the vehicle allegedly driven by Bortz, police said.
