SALISBURY POLICE
A 34-year-old female, of Allentown, was arrested Jan. 13 for allegedly being a fugitive from justice after a traffic stop for not having a license plate on the car she was driving at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Webster Avenue, according to Salisbury police. The female was found to have an outstanding warrant from Somerset City, N.J., according to Salisbury police.
A silver 2019 Chevrolet Silverado pickup was reported taken from Scott Mazda, 3209 Lehigh St., Jan. 29. The vehicle had been missing since Jan. 24, according to Salisbury police.
Wallace Nonnemacher II, 39, of Salisbury Township, allegedly spit onto another person, pushed the person into a dresser and grabbed the person by the throat in a residence in the 2900 block of South Pike Avenue 1:30 a.m. Feb. 9, according to Salisbury police.
Jaymi Beahm, 49, of Salisbury Township, allegedly struck a man in the mouth causing his lip to bleed at a residence in the 1400 block of Seidersville Road, according to Salisbury police.
Numerous items, including credit cards, were removed from a vehicle overnight Feb. 6 while the vehicle was parked in the 1700 block of South Albert Street. The incident was reported to police 9:40 a.m. Feb. 8.
Salisbury police assisted at the scene of a house fire at 1405 E. Susquehanna St. 3:46 p.m. Jan. 23. Police assisted with traffic control and other duties at the scene.
Miguel Augusto Soto, 31, of Bethlehem, allegedly was driving under the influence in the 1200 block of East Susquehanna Street 3:01 a.m. Feb. 2, according to Salisbury police. Police observed a vehicle being driven erratically, prompting a traffic stop.
A 12-year-old male, of Salisbury Township, allegedly was fighting in a locker room at Salisbury Middle School, 3301 Devonshire Road, 7:40 a.m. Feb. 4, according to Salisbury police.
Charlesetta Fritz, 32, of Allentown, allegedly removed a package valued at $145 from outside a residence in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street 5:55 p.m. Jan. 29, according to Salisbury police. Fritz also allegedly removed packages in other incidents in Allentown. Salisbury and Allentown police conducted a joint investigation into the thefts.
Bethany Michele Morgan, 30, who has no current address, allegedly gave police a false name when asked during a traffic stop for an expired registration in the 3000 block of South Pike Avenue, 11:45 a.m. Feb. 1, according to Salisbury police. Morgan was detained due to a warrant from Northampton County.
The driver’s side door of a Mazda CX5 was keyed while parked on the fifth floor of a parking deck at Lehigh Valley Hospital, 1250 S. Cedar Crest Blvd., between 8 a.m. and 3:45 p.m. Feb. 7.
Salisbury police want residents to be aware of a popular scam. Someone offers an iPhone for sale with payment for the merchandise by eBay gift cards. Police caution when payment is requested by gift cards – the transaction is often a scam.
A Salisbury Township resident reported Feb. 11 a caller told him warrants from Texas had been issued against him and demanded payment of $1,600 in gift cards to settle the matter.
A Salisbury resident was robbed 2:20 p.m. Jan. 25 in the 1700 block of East Susquehanna Street when the resident attempted to sell a cellphone via a selling app, according to Salisbury police. The buyers attempted to pay for the cellphone with fake currency before striking the resident in the face and taking the cellphone. The robbers fled in a silver Volvo S60 sedan, according to Salisbury police.
