St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will be having a roast beef dinner 4-6:30 p.m. Feb. 22.

The menu includes mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce and dessert.

The dinner is held in the church social hall and is open to the public.

The borough is preparing for the Coplay Community Days festival in August.

The Aardvarks, a popular band, has already been booked for the weekend festival.

Groups such as Coplay Sports, Coplay Legion, Commitment to Family and Community, St. John’s Lutheran Church and more will be back with their specialty food stands.

Borough organizations such as Coplay Recreation and Welfare Association, Coplay Lions Club, the fire department, Coplay Sports and others are always accepting donations, which can be sent by online or in person.
