Performers from the Disney On Ice show stopped by the Steel Ice Center in Bethlehem to provide a workshop for sixth, seventh and eighth graders from the Arts Academy MS in Allentown Jan. 29. The students who attended take ice skating as a part of their school curriculum. On hand were Disney On Ice stars Grant Marron, Kristine Gardner, Sarah Dalton and Taylor Wilson. Included in the workshop was a two-part experience, one being a question and answer session that allowed students to ask questions related to the performers’ experiences including training, preparing and performing on the show and life on the road. The second part of the workshop was a unique experience to go out on the ice with the performers for an “class session.” The performers gave instructions and displayed their athletic skills as professional figure skaters.
