Have you seen the retro movie “Meet the Robinsons?” The Western Salisbury Elementary School PTA would like to invite you to movie day at the Emmaus Theatre Feb. 22. Since we have not used a single snow day this year, Salisbury Township schools will be closed for Presidents Day Feb. 14 and 17. Because of this, Valentine’s Day parties at the elementary schools will be held Feb. 13. Has your child decorated their box to hold all the fun valentines they will be receiving?

WSE will hold kindergarten registration 9:30 a.m. Feb. 19. If you have a child who will turn five before Sept. 1, get ready to sign them up for school.

Also on Feb. 19, a school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. at the administration building.

On Feb. 21, Harry S Truman Elementary School and WSE have a 1 p.m. early dismissal for teacher professional development. The high school and middle school dismiss at regular time.

Salisbury Middle School will hold a semi-formal dance 6:30-8:30 p.m. Feb. 21.

A curriculum and technology committee meeting will be held 7 p.m. Feb. 24 at HST.

At 6:30 p.m. Feb. 25, the Salisbury High School Guidance Office will host a college information night for high school juniors and seniors and their parents. This is a great resource for those looking for information on the whole college admission process.

A community breakfast will be held 8-11 a.m. March 14 at Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church, 3441 Devonshire Road, Allentown. The menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage, French Toast, toast, English muffins and hash browns, coffee, tea and juices.

The breakfast is available for a suggested donation; proceeds and additional donations for this breakfast will benefit the food packaging program to benefit the Allentown Ecumenical Food Bank, to take place later this year at a date to be determined.

Please note, due to the fact that the second Saturday of the month falls on the weekend of Easter in the month of April this year, there will not be a breakfast held in April.

The entrance for the breakfast is at the rear of the church, with an ADA accessible ramp. A chairlift provides handicapped access to the basement fellowship hall, if necessary.
