Northampton: Alliance to serve pork, sauerkraut

Alliance Fire Company, 717 Washington Ave., will hold a pork and sauerkraut dinner 4-7 p.m. Feb. 15.

A basket social is also planned.

Queenship of Mary Catholic Church will hold a designer purse and gift card bingo event Feb. 16 in the gymnasium of Good Shepherd Catholic School, 1300 Newport Ave. Doors open 11:30 a.m., and the games begin 12:30 p.m.

Food and drinks, a 50/50 raffle and a bake sale will also be held.

Snow date is Feb. 23.

Assumption of the Virgin Mary Ukrainian Orthodox Church, 1301 Newport Ave., is holding a cheesecake and nut roll sale. Nut roll varieties include apricot, lekvar, nut, poppy seed, red raspberry and, new this year, coconut.

The deadline to place orders is March 22. Call Linda at 610-837-3076 or Marty at 610-682-4458.

Pickup for nut rolls is 9 a.m.-noon April 4.

Cheesecake pickup is 9 a.m.-noon April 11.

Holy Trinity Nursery School, 1235 Main St., is registering for the 2020-21 school year.

The 2-year-old playgroup class will meet 9:30-11 a.m. Mondays and Wednesdays. Class size is limited to 12 children. Children do not need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 3-year-old class meets 9-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

The 4-year-old class meets 12:15-2:45 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Class size is limited to 16 children. Children need to be toilet trained for this class.

Children must turn the appropriate age for the class by Sept. 1.

There is a registration fee and a monthly tuition cost.

Northampton Banquet and Event Center holds bingo every Monday.

Doors open 5:30 p.m., and games begin 7 p.m.

The kitchen is open.

Proceeds benefit the Northampton Recreation Center.
