Red Cross Club

Girl Up Club’s Valentine’s Day cards, ordered Jan. 31 through Feb. 10, will be delivered during Flex block Feb. 12. The proceeds will go toward education for girls in underprivileged countries.

The Foriegn Culture Club will hold a meet after school Feb. 13 in Room 232. Anyone is welcome to attend.

The Emmaus High School Red Cross Club is collecting socks for homeless veterans and families. Anyone interested in donating should leave new socks in Room 335 before Feb. 14.

Physicals for spring sports will be held 3 p.m. Feb. 12 in the EHS cafeteria. For more information such as a detailed physical if needed, visit the athletic website.

SnoCo will be a little different this year, due to capacity limitations and fire code space. There will be two dances held. Tickets for the junior and senior dance that will take place Feb. 22 will be sold during all lunch periods Feb. 13 through 20. Students who do not have a lunch are able to purchase tickets at the main office 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. during the designated selling window. Students are allowed to bring an EHS student from another grade if they so choose. Guest forms for non-Emmaus students can be obtained in the main office or from their grade level AP’s office.

There is an obligatory meeting for all participating in the International Fair in Room 239 Feb. 18. For any participants unable to attend, email the fair teachers and coordinators.

Habitat for Humanity will hold a spaghetti dinner 5-7 p.m. March 21 in the high school’s cafeteria. Tickets are discounted for children under 10. The proceeds help a local organization build houses for families in the Lehigh Valley.

The high school sports impact test schedule is: baseball and girls lacrosse Feb. 13, boys lacrosse and softball Feb. 14, boys volleyball and tennis Feb. 18 and track and field Feb. 19. Makeups will be held Feb. 19. All tests will be held 3 p.m. in Rooms 375/377.

The theater department will present “Hello, Dolly!” 7 p.m. March 18-21 and 2 p.m. March 21 and 22 in the EHS auditorium. There will be a complimentary performance for senior Gold Card members 6 p.m. March 17.
