EMMAUS POLICE

A 37-year-old male, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 26 for allegedly being a fugitive from justice after a traffic stop for an expired inspection at the intersection of Sixth and Broad streets, according to Emmaus police. The male was found to have an outstanding warrant from Tuscaloosa, Ala. and was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

Jeffrey Hartranft, 49, of Zionsville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence in the 500 block of South 10th Street Dec. 17, 2019, according to Emmaus police. Hartranft was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.

Brian Stephen Madsen, 37, of Emmaus, was arrested Jan. 13 for allegedly driving under the influence, having an expired inspection, no insurance and restriction on alcoholic beverages in the 100 block of Main Street, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County DUI Center.

Brandon Michael Frey, 29, of Allentown, was arrested Feb. 3 for allegedly fleeing or eluding police, driving while under suspension, having a suspended registration and a stop sign violation in the 600 block of State Road, according to Emmaus police. He was transported to the Lehigh County Booking Center.

The windows, mirrors and tires of a Chevrolet 1500 pickup truck and two windows and two security cameras of the pool office were damaged at Emmaus Community Park, 1401 Shimerville Road. The damage, valued at $3,400, was reported Jan. 27, according to Emmaus police.
