Family members: My family members are my mother, older sister and two younger sisters.

Favorite subject: My favorite subjects are Physics, AP Calculus AB and AP music theory because I am able to learn about how certain things function, why things happen the way they do and why it makes sense. These classes allow me to answer the question “Why?”

Activities: My favorite activities are playing my instruments, doing makeup and spending time with my friends.

Next steps: My next step is to go to college to major in Biology and minor in music.

Career goals: My career goals are to work with animals, specifically marine life, or to perform music.

Heroes: My hero is my grandfather because, from a young age, he was very independent. He has had to make difficult decisions to help support his family.

Hobbies: My hobbies are singing, playing my instruments and reading.

Volunteer/community work: I volunteer at the Salvation Army.

Likes: I like listening to music and doing crossword puzzles. Also, I like to spend time with my friends.

Dislikes: I do not like chocolate or olives.

Greatest accomplishment (so far): My greatest accomplishment so far is being nominated for the Good Citizenship Award from the Union League.

Advice for peers: My advice would be to never give up. Even if things seem discouraging, just remember that you will always be where you are until you are not afraid to take a leap forward.
