Richard J. Greb, 83, of Lewisburg and formerly of Northampton, died Feb. 2, 2020, in Lewisburg Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village. He was the husband of Shirley (Brownmiller) Greb for 63 years.
Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late Ignatz and Emma (Pammer) Greb.
He was an electrician for and retired from Albarell Electric.
He was a member of Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, formerly Our Lady of Hungary, in Northampton, where he was a member of the Holy Name Society and was a church volunteer.
He was the chairman of Cub Pack 99 for many years. He was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers 375 for 42 years.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four sons, David and his wife Denny, Mark and his wife Evelynn, Matthew and his wife Rita and Eric and his wife Suzanne; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two brothers, Walter and Frederick and his wife Judith; a sister, Veronica and her husband Robert Tretter; nieces; and nephews.
There will be a calling time 9-10 a.m. Feb. 6 at the funeral home, 326 E. 21st St., Northampton. There will be a Mass of Christian burial 10:30 a.m. Feb. 6 at the church, 1324 Newport Ave., Northampton.
