Erika Michele Ingato, 47, of Zionsville, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a two-vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 5:38 p.m. Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Yocum’s Towing also responded to the accident.

Stephanie Syann Thompson, 40, of Allentown, allegedly was found to be driving under the influence after a traffic stop at the intersection of Chestnut Street and South Cedar Crest Boulevard, Emmaus, 1:56 a.m. Jan. 1, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Alec William Vegas, 18, of Hatboro, was taken into custody for allegedly driving under the influence after a single vehicle accident on Route 309 South where it merges with Interstate 78 East, Lower Macungie Township, 9:45 p.m. Dec. 15, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The driver lost control of the vehicle and traveled off the left shoulder of Route 309 South and struck a dirt embankment. Further investigation by police revealed the driver was in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Scott Dwayne Covelens, 50, of Zionsville, was determined to allegedly be driving under the influence after Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville troopers responded to a hit-and-run accident along Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, 8:26 p.m. Nov. 25, 2019. According to police, Covelens was driving a vehicle northbound, south of Janes Lane, when the vehicle exited the northbound shoulder and struck a utility pole. The vehicle continued north, sideswiping two trees. Covelens and a passenger allegedly fled the scene of the accident on foot. Personnel from the Lower Milford Fire Department and Detwiler’s Automotive also responded to the accident.

Devyn Alexis Kneller, 19, of Emmaus, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a state trooper observed a vehicle stopped with its emergency lights activated at Kings Highway North and East Macungie Road, Upper Milford Township, 4:21 a.m. Dec. 1, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A 16-year-old female, of Coopersburg, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was cited for underage drinking in the incident, according to police.

David Andrew Yeomans, 49, of Allentown, was found to be allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Hamilton Boulevard and Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:16 p.m. Dec. 20, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Alexander Shaban, 30, of Emmaus, was found to be allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Mill Road and Champagne Drive, Upper Milford Township, 1:30 a.m. Nov. 23, 2019, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Shaban was transported to the Lehigh Valley Central Booking Center.

A 25-year-old man, of Allentown, was cited after his 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 struck a fence in a hit-and-run accident in Upper Milford Township, Dec. 21, 2019. According to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville, the driver was traveling eastbound on Mill Road, just west of Vera Cruz Road, when he failed to stop for a stop sign and traveled straight through the intersection and into the front yard of a residence in the 4500 block of Vera Cruz Road where the vehicle hit a fence. The driver then fled the scene, heading south on Vera Cruz Road.

No injuries were reported or observed as a result of the crash.

The driver was later identified and cited, police said.
