Nursing students graduate

Penn State Lehigh Valley Practical Nursing students Jennifer A. Lawless, Tanya Marie Santly, Marie C. Sedlock and Elesandra Zayas, all Bethlehem area residents, earned a certificate in practical nursing and graduated in a December 20 program at the P.S. - L.V. campus.

The graduates, who also received their pins, have qualified to test for the National Council Licensure Examination for Practical Nurses.

The Most Compassionate Award winner was Elesandra Zayas, who was compassionate and showed empathy, respect and dignity along with intelligent kindness as she cared for her patients.
