The Lehigh Valley LGBT Community Archive, is hosting “Pride Guides and the Early Years of Lehigh Valley Pride Festivals” this month in the Fine Art Galleries at Bradbury-Sullivan LGBT Community Center, 522 W. Maple St., Allentown, through Feb. 21. The display of materials from the collection features the cover images from the first 11 years of Lehigh Valley Pride Festival’s “Pride Guides” programs.

The exhibit features information about LGBT health, arts, corporate support, local leaders, and memorials for those who passed away. It was organized by a Lehigh University student and faculty team including Mary Foltz, Malaika Gutekunst, Maggie Tarmey and Alysse Weinberg.

The group worked through the summer of 2019 to review archival materials and to design and produce the event. For more information, visit www.bradburysullivancenter.org.
