‘LV Black History’

LVHM:

The “Lehigh Valley Black African History Project” Exhibit opens Feb. 1 and continues through Feb. 29, Lehigh County Historical Society’s Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.

“This exhibit highlights important aspects of African-American experience in the Lehigh Valley,” said Joseph Garrera, Executive Director of the Museum, adding, “This is a vital part of our community’s story that is often overlooked.”

The exhibit explores a variety of topics, including education, employment, culture and the Civil Rights Movement during the 1960s.
