Roughies Report: LCTI honors high school students

Every month, teachers at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute recognize students for outstanding effort, improvement, achievement or leadership in their career and technical education programs and academic center classes.

Catasauqua High School students Dynasty Bonilla (CAP graphic communications), Adam Lewis (criminal justice), Stone Carter (heavy equipment operations and preventive maintenance), Lawson Szerencits (precision machine tool technology) and Zachary Bolzau (web design/web programming) were all recently selected by their teachers as LCTI’s December 2019 Students of the Month.

Congratulations, Dynasty, Adam, Stone, Lawson and Zachary!

In honor of school boards’ commitment to students, schools and communities, Pennsylvania School Boards Association has once again designated January as School Director Recognition Month.

Catasauqua Area School District directors spend many hours each month volunteering their time to school-related duties and responsibilities that serve our students, schools and communities. As the successes of our students are being highlighted statewide, let’s not forget our elected school directors who play a significant role in creating the environment where those successes can happen.

Please pause and take a minute to congratulate, support and salute our local school directors this month.
