Mayor Thomas Reenock has proclaimed Jan. 26-Feb. 1 as Northampton School Choice Week in the borough.
School Choice Week is celebrated across the country to raise awareness of the need for effective educational options, Reenock said.
“Northampton is home to a variety of high-quality public and nonpublic schools from which parents can choose for their children, in addition to families who educate their children in their homes,” he added.
