St. John’s Lutheran Church, 18 S. Third St., will hold its first dinner of the new year 4-6:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in the church social hall.

The menu features homemade chicken potpie, applesauce, pickled cabbage and more.

The dinner is open to the public.

Coplay Saengerbund Heritage Committee is planning an ethic dinner 5-7 p.m. Jan. 25.

The dinner features pork or chicken schnitzel, red cabbage and applesauce. Tickets are available at the club, 205 S. Fifth St.

Swimming in the winter is available for borough residents at the Whitehall High School pool.

Swim times are Mondays and Wednesdays. Families swim 7-8 p.m., and adults swim 8-9 p.m.
