Christ’s Church at Lowhill volunteers make Christmas baskets for homebound

Five members of Christ’s Church at Lowhill, New Tripoli, made Christmas 2019 brighter and more delicious for some members of their congregation.

Sue Heffner, Lois Mayers, Pastor Chris Cocca, Wanda Kalusky and Olivia Kubat got together Dec. 17, 2019, to make holiday baskets for those unable to travel from their homes.

The baskets included homemade cookies, jam and bread made by Heffner, candy made by the church’s Candy Makers of Lowhill, fresh fruit, and a Christmas card.

The seven baskets were then delivered by a church member to the homes with Christmas wishes for all.
