The next planning meeting for the Catasauqua/North Catasauqua J4 Celebration, combined with a Catasauqua High School mega reunion, will be 7 p.m. Jan. 23 in the community room at North Catasauqua Borough Hall, 1066 Fourth St.

The event is set for July 4 at the North Catasauqua William J. Albert Memorial Park, 701 Grove St.

Anyone interested in helping to plan the event is welcome to join.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale on everything in the store through Jan. 25.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are accepted during store operation hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Proceeds are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., Catasauqua, is planning to hold its next free community lunch 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Jan. 25.

There will be a hot meal and some time to be with your Catasauqua neighbors.

Catasauqua American Legion Post 215, 330 Second St., will have its next monthly breakfast 8 a.m.-noon Jan. 26.

The event is all you can eat. The menu includes eggs, bacon, sausage links, SOS, home fries, French toast, juice, coffee and tea.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is hosting a pork and sauerkraut dinner Feb. 8. Seatings are 4 p.m. and 6 p.m.

The meal includes pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, corn, applesauce, salad, dessert bar and beverage. Takeout is also available.

This event is in support of the Public Library of Catasauqua.

There is a cost, and the deadline to reserve tickets is Jan. 31.
