Mighty blues: Junior Watson, a West Coast blues guitarist, performs in concert, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16, Godfrey Daniels, Bethlehem. Watson is a founding member of the blues band The Mighty Flyers. He performed with Canned Heat throughout the 1990s. Watson has performed as a backing musician in performances and recordings for blues musicians, including Big Mama Thornton, George Smith, Jimmy Rogers, Luther Tucker, Charlie Musselwhite, John Németh, Michael “Pink” Arguello and Kim Wilson.
