They can do: “Stomp,” the international percussion sensation, makes its return to the State Theatre Center for the Arts, Easton, with a second show added. From its beginnings as a street performance in the United Kingdom, “Stomp” has grown into an international sensation during the past 20 years, having been performed in more than 50 countries and in front of more than 24 million. Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, “Stomp” has received an Olivier Award for Best Choreography, an Obie Award, an Academy Award nomination, four Emmy nominations and an Emmy Award for the HBO special, “Stomp Out Loud.” A combination of percussion, movement and visual comedy, The Los Angeles Times exclaims: “Electrifying! Mighty blues: Junior Watson, a West Coast blues guitarist, performs in concert, 7:30 p.m. Jan. 16, Godfrey Daniels, Bethlehem. Watson is a founding member of the blues band The Mighty Flyers. He performed with Canned Heat throughout the 1990s. Watson has performed as a backing musician in performances and recordings for blues musicians, including Big Mama Thornton, George Smith, Jimmy Rogers, Luther Tucker, Charlie Musselwhite, John Németh, Michael “Pink” Arguello and Kim Wilson.
