Jan. 17 will be an early dismissal for Salisbury Township schools.
Salisbury High School and Salisbury Middle School will dismiss 12:15 p.m. while Harry S Truman Elementary School and Western Salisbury Elementary School will dismiss 1 p.m. Also note all schools will be closed Jan. 20 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Jan. 22 is the end of the second marking period for SHS. Is it me, or is my youngest son’s senior year flying by?
The long awaited WSE fourth grade band concert is almost here. At 9:30 a.m. Jan. 24 you can come hear your students play and know that all that practicing has paid off.
The WSE PTA is holding a family game night Jan. 24. They had a terrific turnout last year and had people playing games in the gym, in the hallway and on the carpet in the lobby. Let’s aim for even more families this year!
There will be an operations committee meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 15 and a school board meeting will be held 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22, both at the administration building.
There will be a curriculum and technology committee meeting 7 p.m. Jan. 27 at SHS.
Your Christmas trees will be picked up by Republic Services on your second pickup day of the week during the month of January. If you have a tree 6 feet or taller, you need to cut it in half before putting it at the curb.
