The Morning Glories of Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., will hold its first meeting of the new year 10 a.m. Jan. 20.

The group will be planning activities and service projects for the next six months.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., is having a half-price sale Jan. 20-25.

Donations of good, used, clean clothing are gratefully accepted during store operation hours: 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Proceeds from the thrift shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.
