NORTH WHITEHALL: Chicken potpie dinner offered Jan. 11 at Union Lutheran Church
Members of Union Lutheran Church Schnecksville, will host a chicken potpie dinner 4:30-7 p.m. Jan. 11. Snow date is Jan. 18.
The buffet-style meal includes biscuits with honey butter, pickled cabbage, macaroni and cheese, applesauce, assorted beverages and cake.
Proceeds will be directed to the Journeymen’s Outreach Ministry.

The Auxiliary of Northern Valley EMS, NOVA, will be baking apple dumplings for the first fundraiser in the new year.

Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, will have two special music features on Jan. 12.
Member Ben Anderson, who was nominated for the outstanding male artist by the Lehigh Valley Music Association, will perform during the morning worship times at 8 a.m. and 10:30 a.m.
In the afternoon, Parkland graduate William Marshall will direct a concert by The Interrupted Silence Ensemble at 3 p.m.
On Jan. 26, the Youth Group will cook up their annual Suds and Spuds baked potato lunch.
A variety of toppings will be available for the baked potatoes which will be served starting at 11:30 a.m. Dessert and beverage are included.
Union UCC contributed 250 bags of potatoes (5 pounds each) to the Northern Lehigh Food Bank for distribution.

The Keenagers seniors group will meet at 1 p.m. Jan. 21 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1415 Rising Sun Road, Laurys Station.
Looking for a fun, fitness activity? Consider the Zumba classes open to all at St. John’s UCC 6 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
An instructor will be present to demonstrate the various moves. There is a small fee which benefits the church.
